SUV Hits Tractor-Trailer, Enters Woods On Highway Exit Ramp In Westchester A person was injured after their SUV struck a tractor-trailer on a highway exit ramp in Westchester, sending it into a wooded area.  The crash happened on Sunday, April 9 around 9:15 p.m., when emergency responders were sent to a crash in Harrison on the exit ramp from Interstate 287 to Interstate 684 northbound, according to the Purchase Fire Department.  Once they arrived, authorities found that an SUV had collided with a tractor-trailer and had come to rest in a wooded area. Man Dies After Tractor Trailer Strikes Him On Side Of Westchester Highway: Police A man was killed after he was hit by a tractor-trailer while standing by his disabled truck on the side of a Westchester County highway, police said.  The crash happened on Tuesday, Dec. 27 around 4:15 a.m., when police responded to I-287 and the I-95 ramps in Rye for a reported accident between a box truck and tractor-trailer, according to state police.  Police determined that Levittown, Pennsylvania resident Kevin Roman, age 26, had been driving a tractor-trailer east on I-287 when he left the lane and hit a box truck that was disabled on the shoulder of the highway.  …

Two Dead In Fiery I-84 Crash Involving Three Tractor-Trailers, School Bus A fiery four-vehicle crash on I-84 has left two people dead and the highway closed with miles-long back-ups.  The crash, between three tractor-trailers and an empty school bus in East Hartford, took place around 5:10 a.m., Monday, June 3, between exits 55 and 56, when a tractor-trailer rear-ended a school bus, said Connecticut State Police Sgt.
