Suspect Identified After Bank Robbery In Cos Cob Police have released the identity of a Fairfield County man who allegedly robbed an area bank last month. An arrest warrant was issued by Greenwich Police on Tuesday, May 31, for Joseph C. Heffner, 42, of Greenwich, in connection with the robbery of the M&T Bank on the Post Road in Cos Cob. 23-Year-Old Nabbed For ID Theft, Forgery At Cos Cob Bank A man is facing charges for ID theft and forgery after he attempted to withdraw a large sum of money from a local bank, according to Greenwich Police. Taj Davis, 23, of Brooklyn, was charged Saturday with three counts of forgery, identity theft, criminal impersonation and attempt at larceny after being caught by police. Davis was caught after bank employees notified police that he had attempted to withdraw the money from the Chase bank on the Post Road in Cos Cob, using a fraudulent ID and signature, the Greenwich Police said. Cos Cob Man Resists Arrest After Physical Assault, Police Say A Cos Cob man is behind bars after resisting arrest following a physical assault, said Greenwich Police. The incident took place around 3 a.m. Sunday when police responded to call of a physical assault on Post Road in Cos Cob, the arrest report said. According to the report, Frank Molina, 34, failed to comply with officer's instructions and “confronted officers in an aggressive manner.”  He was forcibly restrained while being handcuffed, the report added. Molina was charged with assault, resisting arrest and disorderly conduct. He is being held on $10,000 bail.
