Contractor Charged In Connection To Fatal Trench Collapse At Site In Mamaroneck: DA
A Connecticut contractor has been criminally charged in connection to a trench collapse at a construction site in New York that killed a 46-year-old man, officials announced. Fairfield County resident Michael Conway of Bethel, age 59, was arraigned in Westchester County Court on criminal charges in connection to the fatal collapse, which happened in Mamaroneck in May 2021 and killed Stamford resident Jose Vega, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced on Monday, Feb. 26.
