Targeted 4-Hour Detail Results In 23 Traffic Stops At Busy Hudson Valley Shopping Center Following complaints from residents and business owners, a targeted police detail at a busy Hudson Valley shopping center resulted in 23 traffic summonses over only four hours.  The enforcement campaign was conducted in Putnam County on Friday evening, May 17 at the Mahopac Village Center shopping center. Hudson Valley Man Accused Of Driving Drunk At More Than Twice Legal Limit A 22-year-old Hudson Valley man is accused of driving while intoxicated at more than two times the legal limit. Troopers pulled a vehicle over on I-87 in the Albany County town of Bethlehem for vehicle and traffic violations at about 1:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 29, New York State Police said. Police said the driver, identified as Rockland County resident Cristian Agualema, of New City, was found to be intoxicated. Man Faces Impaired Driving Charge After Crash In Hudson Valley A man was arrested for alleged intoxicated driving after hitting a car in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Putnam County around 1 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 16 in the town of Kent. Police responded to the Kent Center for a report of a man who had struck a car and was possibly intoxicated, the department said. The man, identified as Vincent Cobelli, whose age and hometown were not released by police, exited the center onto Route 52 in a black Dodge Ram before being stopped in the parking lot of the Lake Carmel Fire Department, police said.
