Paul Milo has worked as a reporter in northern New Jersey for more than 20 years, first for North Jersey Media Group / NorthJersey.com, then at Patch.com and at NJ.com / The Star-Ledger. He has written about a 106-year-old World War I veteran, the Sept. 11 attacks and a 15-year-old stock manipulator who was the youngest person ever civilly charged by the Securities and Exchange Commission, among many other stories. He has interviewed governors, presidential candidates and celebrities including Ryan Seacrest and comedian Kevin Hart.

In addition to his work for New Jersey-based outlets, he has also written for BeliefNet, Editor and Publisher, The Huffington Post, The Boston Globe and other publications, as well as freelance assignments for global chemical company BASF.

His first book, Your Flying Car Awaits, was published by HarperCollins in 2010. As part of the book’s promotional efforts he was interviewed by The New York Times and on WNYC radio’s The Brian Lehrer Show

Rahway Man Found Guilty Of Sexually Assaulting Woman, 67 A 25-year-old Rahway man was convicted by a jury of breaking into a woman's home and violently sexually assaulting her, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said Monday.  Jermaine Ramirez entered the home early on the morning of June 29, 2018, and attacked the 67-year-old victim. Linden Man Accused Of Shooting Stepfather Caught In Pennsylvania A Linden man wanted for shooting his stepfather last month was captured in Pennsylvania, the Union County Prosecutor's Office said.  Authorities had been looking for Derrick E. Merisma after police were called to a Cedar Avenue apartment Oct. 18 on a report of a shooting. The 49-year-old victim had sustained a gunshot wound, authorities said. A 9mm handgun was found at the scene, authorities also said.  Merisma was tracked to Easton, Pa., where he was pulled over in a traffic stop last week. Overturned Tanker Truck Closes Overpass On 24 In Summit A tanker truck overturned on an overpass in Summit Monday, spilling hundreds of gallons of gasoline and briefly forcing lane closures on Rt. 24.  The truck overturned on an overpass near Broad Street around 3:30 a.m. All lanes on Rt. 24 were re-opened as of about 6 a.m. but the ramp to Exit 9A -Broad Street-Millburn-Summit remained closed as of about 7 a.m., the Department of Transportation said.  In addition, Summit officials said Broad Street is closed between the Route 24 overpass and Middle Avenue.
