Port Chester to Honor Military Men and Women

A color guard and firing team will honor service members who have served and died at sea during the American Legion's Memorial Day observance Monday.

The ceremony, which will  begin at 8:45 a.m. at the Village Marina, will take place before the town’s parade. The color guard and firing team will make their way through Port Chester, visiting several memorials and monuments, before ending at Veteran's Memorial Park on Westchester Avenue and Regent Street at 11 a.m.

Ceremonies will take place there until noon, when the parade will begin. The parade will start  at Veteran's Memorial Park and head east on Westchester Avenue, ending at New Broad Street.
