Nancy Salazar, 59, Of Harrison
HARRISON, N.Y. – Nancy Salazar, of Harrison, died July 18. She was 59.
She recently retired as a communications analyst for Avon.
Salazar is survived by her sister Jane Brunner, partner Philip Capillo, extended family members Silvia Petterson and Wendy Turk, her cat Willow and many loving cousins.
Visiting hours will be from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Gregory the Great Church.
Interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.

Sophia Podruzny, 86, Of Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. – Sophia Podruzny (nee Horyt), of Yonkers, di ed Sunday, July 19 at Tarry Hall Nursing Home. She was 86.
Podruzny was born April 22, 1929, to Ewa and Felix Horyt in Yonkers.
She was predeceased by her parents, husband Thomas and son Thomas, and is survived by her nieces Nanette Gambelli and Denise Horyt, and nephews David Horyt and Robert Miesionczek.
A funeral Mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Casimir's Church, 239 Nepperhan Ave. Yonkers.

Gertrude Ribakove Gabel, 97, Of Pleasantville
PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. – Gertrude Ribakove Gabel, a longtime Pleasantville resident, died July 18 in El Cerrito, Calif. She was 97.
She was born in Brooklyn to Samuel and Rachel Ribakove, earning two Masters of Fine Arts degrees from CCNY and Pratt Institute, teaching art in New York City for 25 years and working as a puppeteer for the New York City Parks Department.
She was predeceased by her parents, ex-husband Murry Gabel, brother Lionel Ribakove and daughter Laura Gabel, and is survived by sister Florence Bar-Ilan of Rehovot, Israel; three sons, Jonathan and partner Ligaya Yadao in Oak…
Elizabeth L. Montero, 65, Of Harrison
HARRISON, N.Y. – Elizabeth L. Montero, of Harrison, died Wednesday, July 15. She was 65.
Montero was born Nov. 10, 1949, in New York City to Frank and Anne Levi. She worked at the Bank of New York in Harrison.
She is survived by a daughter Victoria Lustrino and her husband, Frank; grandchildren, Alphonse and Matthew; and siblings, Frank Levi and Anita McGilvray.
Visiting hours will be Saturday, July 18, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck.
