The weekly program has been run by the Aquarium for four years, emphasizing STEM literacy as a way to prepare for college, create career opportunities and develop skills that will help in the workforce. Unruly Man Causes $1.5K In Damage At Good Samaritan Hospital, Police Say SUFFERN, N.Y. – Suffern police arrested a 54-year-old Brooklyn man on felony criminal mischief charges on Saturday, according to authorities. Officers were notified of an unruly person at Good Samaritan Hospital and, when they arrived, saw that the man had damaged a security device valued at over $1,500. It was discovered that the man had a long criminal record, including prior arrests and convictions for assault, petty larceny and criminal trespass. He was transferred to the Rockland County Jail.

Fire Destroys Garage In Pound Ridge POUND RIDGE, N.Y. – A garage was destroyed in a Thursday morning fire in Pound Ridge, according to News 12. Firefighters were called to a Stone Hill Road property about 8 a.m. and spent around 2 1/2 hours battling the blaze, News 12 said. The fire was so bad that three other departments and 75 firefighters were called in, reported News 12. No one was injured, but a firefighter was treated for exhaustion, News 12 noted.
