Westchester Communities, Colleges Set 'Relay For Life' Events
Hundreds, if not thousands, of folks will be lacing up their running shoes this spring all over Westchester to help fight a deadly disease.
The American Cancer Society says that 13 Relay for Life events have been scheduled for May 20 through June 19.
The community-led events will be held in: Eastchester, Mamaroneck, Chappaqua, Harrison, Katonah-Lewisboro, the Tarrytowns, Yorktown, Yonkers, Somers, Ossining and the Hendrick Hudson School District.
The two college sponsored ones – for students, staff and alumni – will be held at Iona College and Pace University.

Pelham's Picture House Hosts Screening, Talk With Comedian Robert Klein
PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Picture House Regional Film Center (TPH) in Pelham will screen the documentary "Robert Klein Still Can’t Stop His Leg" on Wednesday, March 29, followed by a discussion with the director, TPH’s critic-in- residence Marshall Fine, and the film's subject, legendary comedian Robert Klein.
In the documentary, Fine follows Klein in his daily routines and gives viewers an inside look at a seasoned comic improvising jokes about everyday life: grocery shopping, getting a haircut and hanging out with pals, according to a release from TBH.

Westchester Librarians Share Their Cultural Journey To Hemingway's Cuba
LARCHMONT, N.Y. -- Librarians Nancy Coradin and Diana Lennon will give a talk on their trip to Havana, Cuba, with a focus on American novelist Ernest Hemingway’s time there, Thursday, March 23, at the Larchmont Public Library.
The visit offered them access to current Cuban literature and provided a bridge to connect and engage with Cuban librarians to discuss libraries, their services, their history and their future, according to a release from the Larchmont Public Library.
