Wintry Mix Causing Slippery Travel Conditions In Parts Of Region A new storm system bringing a mix of sleet, freezing rain, and snow is causing slippery travel conditions in some spots in the region. The system arrived just before daybreak on Monday, Feb. 7 and is expected to wind down by around noontime when the temperature will rise above the freezing mark throughout the area.
