Joe Lombardi, Daily Voice's Managing Editor, has spent his professional career as a newsroom director, manager, editor, producer, writer, reporter and broadcaster who has worked at major websites, television networks, newspapers, magazines and radio stations and as a book author.

The Manhattan native, Irvington (NY) High School and University of Dayton graduate has been actively involved in web publishing for more than 25 years. In addition, he also has expertise in marketing, public relations and social media.

Lombardi rejoined Daily Voice in September 2013 as managing editor after serving as sports editorial consultant from August 2011 through January 2012. He was named to oversee editorial operations in the fall of 2017.

Garland Ventures is recalling approximately 13,842 pounds of ready-to-eat (RTE) chicken fried rice products that may be adulterated with Listeria monocytogenes, the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) announced. Massive Storm: Here's Projected Rainfall, When Damaging Winds Could Cause Power Outages A massive storm taking aim at the region will bring heavy rain, rare December thunderstorms, and damaging winds that could cause power outages with snowfall in parts of the Northeast. ID Released For Westchester Resident Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train The identity has been released of a person who was killed after being struck by a train at a station in New York. The incident happened around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 6 in Westchester County when the man trespassing on tracks at the Port Chester station was struck by the Stamford-bound Metro-North train on Track 3, according to an MTA spokesperson. 42-Year-Old NY Woman Believed To Be Traveling Has Been Missing For 2 Weeks A 42-year-old New York woman has gone missing and authorities are asking the public's help in trying to find her. Gabrielle B. Becker was last seen in her Delaware County hometown of Roxbury (outlined in red in the image above) on Friday, Nov. 24, according to New York State Police. "Her family has been unable to contact her since and is concerned for her safety," said police. "Gabrielle does not have a vehicle and may be utilizing public transportation." Fatal Crash: 28-Year-Old Coram Woman ID'd As Victim In Rocky Point Police are investigating an overnight crash that left a Long Island woman dead. It happened around 10:20 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3 in Rocky Point. A 28-year-old woman from Coram was driving a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee southbound on Rocky Point Yaphank Road, between Route 25A and Whiskey Road, when the vehicle left the roadway and crashed into a wooded area, Suffolk County Police said.
