One Nabbed After SUV Flees Sex Sting Armed Robbery, Police Say One of two men who took part in an alleged sex sting armed robbery has been arrested after fleeing the scene. The incident began around 1:11 a.m. Wednesday when the City of Poughkeepsie Police began receiving numerous calls reporting multiple shots fired in the area of 77 Carroll St., with reports of a dark-colored SUV fleeing the area, said Det. Two Men Shot As Fights Break Out Overnight In Poughkeepsie Two men suffered gunshot wounds as fights broke out amid a large crowd overnight in the City of Poughkeepsie, Lt. Matt Clark said. The incident occurred around 3:15 a.m. Saturday in the area of Church and Academy streets. A 29-year-old victim was found with a gunshot wound to his chest. He was transported to a local hospital and is expected to live, Clark said.  The victim was not able to speak with detectives about what happened due to his injury.
