The incident unfolded at Somers Commons at 80 Route 6 in Somers on Wednesday, Aug. 19, following an ongoing dispute between two Mahopac boys, ages 14 and 15, New York State Police announced on Tuesday, Aug. 25.

100-Year-Old Colt Pistol Seized From Suspect In Westchester
A century-old pistol with a defaced serial number was taken off the streets after officers recovered it from a suspect in Northern Westchester, police said.
The Colt .25-caliber pistol, which police said is 100 years old, was found in Ossining on Saturday night, Aug. 22, the Ossining Police Department announced on Monday, Aug. 24.
Police said the weapon was unloaded when officers found it. However, its serial number had allegedly been defaced, and the person carrying it did not have a pistol permit.
