New Update: Missing 8-Year-Old From NY Found In Florida This story has been updated. An 8-year-old girl who was reported missing after visiting her mother at a New York hotel has been found. Long Island resident Toni Simmons, of Brookhaven, had last been seen on Saturday, April 1, in Medford, at the Comfort Inn located on Route 112, according to Suffolk County Police. On Monday afternoon, police said Simmons had been found in Florida with her mother and was unharmed.
