'Probie' Helps Deliver Baby Girl On First Run As Firefighter In Westchester A "probie" (probationary) firefighter got more than he bargained for on his first shift, the delivery of a baby. The delivery took place around 7:27 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 14, on Riverdale Avenue, said Yonkers Deputy Chief Joseph Citrone. According to the chief, members from engine company 303 from Station 3 on Vark St. including Capt. Chris Canfield, FF Tom Kilduff, FF Tom Halpin, and Probationary FF Michael Iacovello delivered a baby girl.  "That was PFF Iacovello’s first tour in the firehouse," Citrone said. All are well.
