Police Sergeant Seriously Injured After Stolen-Vehicle Chase, Crash In Westchester A police officer is in serious condition following a crash with a man driving a stolen vehicle in Westchester. The incident took place around 2 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 29, when an unmarked Yonkers Police unit was working a crime suppression detail in the area of Central Park Avenue in response to recent commercial burglaries which include local car dealerships, said Detective Lt.
