Two men, ages 33 and 57, were at Ben’s Crab Shack on Hempstead Turnpike in Uniondale at 10:40 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 13 when they were approached by Columbia, Mississippi resident Bradley Taylor at the restaurant.

Police said that Taylor, 50, removed a large knife from his belt sheath and immediately stabbed both victims before walking out of the restaurant.

Upon officers’ arrival, Taylor was arrested without incident. Both of Taylor’s victims were stabbed and were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries and are listed in stable condition, police said.

It is unclear what prompted Taylor to attack the two men.

Taylor was charged with two counts of assault, two counts of criminal possession of a weapon, and obstructing governmental administration. He was scheduled to be arraigned on Friday, Aug. 14 in Mineola.
