The woman, Sharean McDonald, was charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor stemming from the incident that occurred around 4:30 p.m. Saturday, April 13. She will appear at Clarkstown Justice Court at a later date. Police have also clarified that the two juvenile victims were not involved in the issue of the stolen sneakers and were falsely identified by the group that engaged in the assault.
