Woman Celebrating Cinco De Mayo Drives Drunk Into Police Headquarters In Hudson Valley: Cops A woman who was out celebrating Cinco de Mayo drove drunk right into the parking lot of a police headquarters in a town in the Hudson Valley, according to authorities. Just before 11 p.m. on Friday, May 5 in Ulster County, the woman drove into the restricted area at Saugerties Police Headquarters, located at 4 High Street in Saugerties. Agitated Man Blocks Hudson Valley Roadway With Truck, Camper, Refuses To Move, Police Say A 53-year-old man was taken to an area hospital for a mental evaluation after he blocked an area roadway for more than 90 minutes after parking his truck and camping trailer across the road. The incident took place in Ulster County around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 12 on Route 212 in the town of Saugerties.  Saugerties Police responded to a 911 call for a report of a pick-up truck with an attached camping trailer that had parked sideways on the New York State Thruway overpass, blocking all four lanes of traffic on Route 212, said Chief Joseph Sinagra, of the Saugerties Police.…

Hudson Valley Woman Driving Drunk Crashes Into House, Police Say A Hudson Valley woman was arrested after allegedly running off a roadway, hitting a utility pole and then a house while driving under the influence. The Ulster County incident happened around 10:25 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 5 in Saugerties. Officers responded to 6 1st St., for a report of a Jeep into a house. Ulster County resident Katherine Moreira, 40, of Saugerties, was arrested on Monday, Nov. 23, after Saugerties Police responded to a call for a domestic in progress at the Skyline Drive Apartments in the Town of Saugerties, said Chief Joseph Sinagra. Martin Cody, 62, of Palenville, in Greene County, was arrested in Ulster County on Friday, Nov. 20 by Saugerties Police following the crash on SR 32A, said Saugerties Police Chief Joseph Sinagra.
