Rohan Brijlall, 42, of the Bronx, pled guilty Monday, Sept. 9, for the crash that took place on Oct. 15, 2018, on Route 59 in Nanuet, said Acting Rockland County District Attorney Kevin Gilleece. Man Pleads Guilty In Nanuet Hit-Run That Left Three Seriously Injured An SUV driver who was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Route 59 in Nanuet - leaving three seriously injured - while he had drugs and alcohol in his system has pleaded guilty to his role in the crash. Rohan Brijlall, 42, of the Bronx, pleaded guilty to second-degree assault, a violent felony, the Rockland County District Attorney’s Office announced on Monday, Sept. 9 in connection to the crash on Oct. 15 last year. SUV Driver Charged With Felonies In Route 59 Crash That Injured Four An SUV driver who was involved in a three-vehicle crash that injured four has been charged with numerous felonies. Based on an investigation conducted by the Clarkstown Police Detective Bureau following the crash on Monday on Route 59 in Nanuet, Rohan Brijlall, 41, of the Bronx, was arrested Thursday, said Det. Peter Walker with the Clarkstown Police Department. According to Walker, Brijlall was the driver of the SUV that struck two stopped vehicles in the right lane of traffic.
