New Road Resurfacing Alert Issued For Rockland Motorists should expect delays as contracting crews get set to begin another road resurfacing project. The Rockland County Highway Department issued an alert on Tuesday advising that beginning at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 16, roadwork will be performed along South Airmont Road from Route 59 to Campbell Avenue in Airmont.
