Hudson Valley Man, 24, Dies Suddenly While Visiting Caribbean, Family Says A 24-year-old man from the region has died unexpectedly while visiting the Caribbean. Dutchess County resident Jeffrey Kiluba, of Red Hook, died on Saturday, Oct. 7 during a brief holiday in the Dominican Republic, said his brother Tim Kiluba on GoFundMe. A volunteer firefighter at the Red Hook Fire Company, Kiluba was last heard from on Friday, Oct. 6, expressing excitement to see mom and dad again on Sunday, Tim Kiluba said. Town of Poughkeepsie resident Nicole Addimando was sentenced to a term of 19 years to life in prison after being found guilty of second-degree murder in the fatal shooting of her former boyfriend, Christopher Grover. She was also found guilty of criminal possession of a weapon. Grover, a 2006 graduate of Red Hook High School, was a head coach at Mr. Todd’s Gymnastics in Poughkeepsie.
