Covid-19: School District In Rockland Extends Remote Learning A Hudson Valley school district near one of the state’s largest COVID-19 clusters will be keeping students out of the classroom longer to avoid the spread of the virus. Measles Outbreak Spreads To Public School In Rockland The first case of measles at a public elementary school was reported Friday in Rockland County. The new case, at Hempstead Elementary School, is the first case at a public school since the outbreak began in Rockland County in late September.
