Man Charged In Attempted Murder Of A Police Officer In Ellenville

ELLENVILLE, N.Y. -- A Cragsmoor man has been charged with attempted murder of a police officer in Ellenville, according to Time Warner Cable News.

State Police responded to a 911 call about a man trying to enter a home in Ellenville on Tuesday. 

When they arrived 32-year-old Cory Larson started shooting at the police before he stepped out of the home and was arrested. No injuries were reported, according to Time Warner Cable News.

Larson is also facing charges of reckless endangerment, menacing a police officer and criminal possession of a weapon. He is being held at Ulster County Jail without bail and is due back in court on Friday, May 27, according to Time Warner Cable News.
