The 53-year-old discount home-goods chain offers seasonal decor year-round, along with assorted gifts, kitchen items, and furniture. Man Wanted For Hudson Valley Armed Robbery Nabbed After Parkway Chase, Police Say A man wanted for the alleged armed robbery of a Hudson Valley mini-mart was nabbed by state police following a chase on the Sprain Brook Parkway. The incident started in Rockland County around 9:43 p.m. Monday, Dec. 12, in Clarkstown. New York State Police were advised to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in an armed robbery of a mini-mart in Clarkstown, said Trooper Tara McCormick.  Troopers spotted the wanted vehicle, a 2014 Chevrolet Equinox, traveling southbound on the Mario Cuomo Bridge and attempted to stop the vehicle but the driver refused to stop and a pursuit ensued, …

Covid-19: Hudson Valley Sees Uptick In Cases; Here's Latest Data By County The positive COVID-19 infection rate in the Hudson Valley ticked down slightly, though the number of newly reported cases is on the rise. In the past week, the average seven-day average COVID-19 positive infection rate in the Hudson Valley rose from 2.27 percent on Monday, March 21 to 2.33 percent the following day before dropping slightly to 2.32 percent of those tested on Wednesday, March 23.  Statewide, the positivity rate is also surging, up from 1.78 percent to 2.02 percent during the same time frame.
