Man Attempted To Abduct Woman At Gunpoint In Westchester, Police Say A 23-year-old man is behind bars after he allegedly pulled a gun out and demanded a woman get into his car as he attempted to abduct her on the side of a busy roadway in Northern Westchester, Westchester County Police said. Cortlandt Manor resident Kyle Gregg was arrested on Monday night, Jan. 7  following an investigation into allegations from the woman who alleged that he attempted to abduct her at gunpoint. Accused Westchester Drug Dealer Behind Bars After Undercover Sale A 42-year-old man accused of dealing drugs in the Northern Westchester/Putnam area has been arrested and is behind bars after he allegedly sold cocaine to an undercover officer. An investigator assigned to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department Narcotics Enforcement Unit developed information that the man was involved in the sale of cocaine in the Mahopac area.  The investigator was able to make contact with Terron A. Lightning Strike Hospitalizes Three In Area A lightning strike on Lake Mahopac sent three people out boating to the hospital and slightly injured another. The incident took place around 3 p.m. Wednesday, July 4 when Putnam County Sheriff's Sgt. Matthew Monroe of the department's Marine Patrol Unit responded to a report of an occupied disabled boat on Lake Mahopac, the department said. During heavy rain and frequent lightning strikes Monroe was able to locate the disabled vessel, near the northwest corner of the lake. 11-Year-Old Killed By Fallen Tree In Hudson Valley An 11-year-old boy was killed Friday afternoon when a tree crashed through a home amid the Nor'easter, according to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Department. The tragic death occurred on 33 Dunderberg Road in Putnam Valley at about 12:15 p.m. When Deputy Charlie Johnson arrived, he observed a large tree had fallen and crashed into the home, trapping the young boy underneath.
