At around 2 p.m., Friday, Jan. 7, when Pleasantville firefighters were notified that a dog named Miller was stuck in Opperman's Pond and unable to climb out. Woman Seriously Injured In Wrong-Way Saw Mill River Parkway Crash A Fairfield County woman was seriously injured when a wrong-way driver collided with her car on the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester. The incident occurred about 10:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 28, on the northbound Saw Mill just north of Marble Avenue, in Mount Pleasant, said Kieran O'Leary, spokesman for the Westchester County Police. Man Charged With DWI Following Head-On Crash That Causes Saw Mill Parkway Closure A 54-year-old man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a head-on collision that closed the Saw Mill River Parkway in Northern Westchester. The incident occurred around 2:40 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 14 when a GMC Envoy traveling southbound on the Saw Mill in the vicinity of Route 120 in New Castle struck a guard rail, went airborne and entered the northbound lanes of travel, Westchester County Police said.
