Hudson Valley Resident Co-Produced Oscar Favorite For Picture Of Year
With the Oscars airing this weekend few people have focused on part-time Hudson Valley resident and Vassar alumnus Jon Read who co-produced this year's favorite film.
Read, who doesn't divulge where he lives in the Hudson Valley, was the co-producer and production supervisor of "Everything Everywhere All at Once," according to Laurent Rejto, of the Hudson Valley Film Commission.
The film has been nominated for 11 Academy Awards, including Best Picture, Best Actress, Best Supporting Actress, Best Supporting Actor, Best Director, Best Original Screenplay, and many others.

Hey Westchester County Extras, Here's When 'Poker Face' Will Be Premiering On Peacock
Hey, all of you hundreds, maybe thousands of extras who worked on the upcoming series "Poker Face," which was filmed throughout the Hudson Valley, you'll get to see yourself on TV pretty soon.
Peacock announced last week the 10-part series starring Natasha Lyonne will air on Peacock on Thursday, Jan. 26.
The murder-mystery series, which was based out of Newburgh’s Umbra studios, was filmed throughout the Hudson Valley for much of this year with locations in Dutchess, Orange, Putnam, and Ulster counties, according to Laurent Rejto, director of the Hudson Valley Film Commission.

Casting is currently underway for paid extras and two child actor parts for an upcoming film that takes place in 1939.
"Lost On A Moutain In Maine," based on the true account of a boy's harrowing journey through the vast wilderness of the Katahdin Mountains, will be filming in Ulster County in Kingston throughout July, said the Hudson Valley Film Commission who is working on the film.

From baby twins to moms in their 30s, two movies filming in the Hudson Valley are looking for actors.
HBO's "White House Plumbers" is looking for Caucasian twin babies 6-12 months old for a small scene filming in Dutchess County on Thursday, Aug. 19, in Dover Plains, said the Hudson Valley Film Commission.
The babies would portray Howard Hunt's grandchild in the scene.

Big-time Hollywood stars are in the Hudson Valley this week filming a new Netflix movie at a local library, but they won't be doing much reading.
According to Deadline, the movie, "Things Heard And Seen," an adaptation of the book "All Things Cease to Appear," by Elizabeth Brundage, will bring the likes of James Norton, Amanda Seyfried, Natalia Dyer, and Oscar winner F. New Movie 'I'm Thinking of Ending Things' Films At Area Diner
Brie Larson, "Captain Marvel," herself might not have been in the area, but other actors starring in her latest film, "I'm Thinking of Ending Things," were filming around the Hudson Valley this week, including at the Red Line Diner in Fishkill.
