Duo Nabbed In Norwalk Vape Shop Bust Two vape shop employees were charged with the alleged possession of marijuana with intent to sell in Fairfield County after police seized more than seven pounds of pot at a vape shop not licensed to sell marijuana. 19-Year-Old Accused Of Enticing Child To Perform Sex Acts In Dutchess County A 19-year-old man has been charged with allegedly inducing a child under 17 to perform sexual acts in the Hudson Valley. Daniel N. Montesdeoca, age 19, of New York City, was arrested on Thursday, April 11, in connection with a recent investigation into the sexual performance of a child. Man Charged In Shooting Dead Of Middletown Man After 5 Years Following a five-year investigation into the death of a Hudson Valley man, detectives, and the FBI Safe Streets Task Force have arrested a suspect in the case. Man Drives Car Off Greenwich Roadway Into Coastal Rocks First responders rescued an elderly driver in Fairfield County after he drove off the end of a roadway and landed on the rocks keeping him from driving into Long Island Sound. According to Assistant Chief Mark Zuccerella of the Greenwich Police, the incident occurred around 10 a.m. on Sunday, April 14, when the man drove off the end of Steamboat Road. Darien Landlord-Tenant Dispute Lands 1 In Jail, Police Say A Fairfield County man was charged with alleged disorderly conduct following a dispute between a landlord and a tenant. Darien resident Robert Snyder, age 57, was arrested on Sunday, April 7. According to Sgt. 2 Hit By Pickpocket At Darien Trader Joe's, Police Say Two people in a week have been the victim of a pickpocket at a Fairfield County Trader Joe's. The first incident occurred on Monday, April 1, at the store at 436 Post Road in Darien. According to Sgt. Woman Charged With DUI In Wilton After Hitting Mailbox, Police Say A Fairfield County woman has been accused of driving drunk after she allegedly backed into a mailbox and failed field sobriety tests. Kiana Diaz, age 26, of Newtown, was busted in Wilton on Range Road at 12:08 a.m. on Monday, April 1. According to Lt. Anna Tornello, of the Wilton Police, police on the scene found that Diaz had backed a 2024 blue Kia Seltos in a mailbox. Police: Man Spends $5K With Forged Checks In South Windsor A 31-year-old Connecticut man was nabbed for allegedly using several forged checks to spend $5,000 at Costco, police say. Daniel H. Falvey, age 31, of East Hartford, was charged on Thursday, March 28, on an active warrant and charged with larceny and issuing a bad check. According to Sgt. Mark Cleverdon of the South Windsor Police, Falvey's arrest stems from a January investigation in which police found he used several forged checks from an East Hartford business to purchase the items at Costco.
