NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. -- Molly Rose Friend, of New Rochelle, died Oct. 21. She was 27.
A teacher at White Plains United Pre-School and a Hofstra graduate, she was getting her master's in education/special-education at Manhattanville.
She is survived by her mother, Nancy Paulsen, father, David Friend, and twin brother, Sam.
A memorial service is planned at noon Sunday at the home of Michael and Joann Rooney, 159 Kensington Oval, New Rochelle. A private funeral is set for Monday.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to United Pre-School, 1186 King St., Rye Brook, NY 10573.
