NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. – Hurricane Sandy relief items will be collected at Iona College men’s and women's basketball season-openers Friday night, the school has announced.
Iona student athletes and campus ministry students will be on hand to collect donations from attendees of the sporting events, the school said.
Items will be delivered Saturday and Sunday.
The school’s campus ministry also will accept donations for the rest of the day Friday in the lobbies at LaPenta, McSpedon, Hagan, and residence halls.
