It happened on Wednesday, Aug. 30 in Huntington at approximately 3 p.m., according to Suffolk County Police. Long Island Man Charged After Spray-Painting Nine Buildings, Police Say A Long Island man was arrested after police said he spray-painted "Defund the Police" or "Defund Suffolk PD" on nine buildings.  Thomas Rivas, age 26, of Huntington, was arrested and charged with nine counts of making graffiti, the Suffolk County Police Department announced on Wednesday, Oct. 13.
