Joseph Garcia, of Port Jefferson Station, was arrested on Saturday, March 27, for the shooting death of David Bliss, 25, of Shirley in Port Jefferson on Wednesday, March 24, said the Suffolk County Police. Police Investigating Shots Fired Incident In Nassau County Police are investigating a case of shots fired on Long Island over the weekend. The department received a call of shots fired in the area of East Argyle Street in Valley Stream around 4:45 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 21, said the Nassau County Police. No one was found injured and police are investigating the situation. Police are asking homeowners with video surveillance that might have captured the shooting to contact police at 516-573-8800.
