Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Overnight Long Island Crash
A motorcyclist was seriously injured in an overnight crash on Long Island. It happened on Saturday, Oct. 26 at approximately 4:10 a.m. in Huntington. Thomas Horton, 55, of Manorville, was operating a 1996 Yamaha northbound on Centerport Road, near Blenheim Lane, when he lost control of the motorcycle and crashed, Suffolk County Police said. A passing motorist saw Horton lying on the side of the roadway and called 911. Horton was transported to Huntington Hospital for treatment of serious injuries, according to police.
