Man Seriously Injured In Stabbing Sparked By Incident Near Centereach Shell Station, Police Say A Long Island man was stabbed 11 times after he confronted a jogger who yelled at him as he pulled into a gas station. The incident occurred in Centereach at 8:10 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 1 near the Shell Gas located on Middle Country Road. According to Suffolk County Police, the 49-year-old man was driving a vehicle, with three passengers, into the entrance of the gas station as Matthew Ulloa, age 18, of Ronkonkoma, was jogging westbound past the entrance.
