Medical Emergency Leads To Crash, Road Closure On Long Island, Police Say Police on Long Island are investigating and asking for witnesses to a crash following a medical emergency suffered by the driver. The incident occurred in Quogue around 6:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sept. 13 on the Montauk Highway near the intersection of Catbrier Road. According to Quogue Chief of Police Christopher Isola, responding officers arrived and found a pickup truck in the woods with a 71-year-old man in the driver seat suffering an apparent medical emergency.
