Stabbed For Stealing: Man Accused Of Killing Victim In Bellerose Village, Police Say
A Long Island man has been arrested after allegedly stabbing and killing another person attempting to steal his tire rims, police said. The incident occurred on Thursday, May 25 at 8 a.m. in Bellerose Village, Nassau County Police reported. Jacob Alvarenga Mejia, aged 28, was inside his home when he allegedly saw three men attempting to steal the tire rims and wheels from his 2003 Toyota Highlander.
