Nearly three years after a 69-year-old engine mechanic was found shot to death inside his Long Island home, his killer is heading to prison for decades. Suspect At Large After Armed Robbery At Mineola Gas Station
A suspect is on the loose after an armed robbery at a Long Island gas station. The man entered the convenience store of the BP gas station in Mineola, located at 91 Jericho Turnpike, at around 5:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, Nassau County Police said. An alleged robbery suspect is on the run after pulling a handgun on a woman on Long Island and stealing her purse before fleeing in a car. The incident took place in North New Hyde Park around 3:30 p.m., Wednesday, Oct. 5 on Denton Avenue near Hillside Avenue. Oxycodone Pills, Loaded Handgun Discovered After Nassau County Traffic Stop, Police Say
A 27-year-old man was charged after police said he resisted arrest and was found to be in possession of oxycodone pills and a loaded handgun following a traffic stop on Long Island. Randy Scott was arrested for the incident in Inwood, which occurred at 2:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, the Nassau County Police Department reported. The identity of the man who was killed in a police-involved shooting overnight on Long Island has been released. The incident happened around 10:20 p.m.on Thursday, Dec. 19 in Brentwood.
