A 22-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car while jogging on a Long Island roadway in a crash that also left her two brothers hospitalized. The crash happened at around 8:20 a.m. in Commack, on Harned Road near Donna Court, according to Suffolk County Police. Investigators said Ilona Kaydanov and her brothers, ages 13 and 20, were jogging in a single file on the northbound shoulder of Harned Road when they were struck by a Chrysler Voyager. A man who went for an early-morning swim off the coast of Long Island soon found himself stranded when the tide pulled him over two miles from the shore. On Monday, July 31 at approximately 5 a.m., 63-year-old Dan Ho went for a swim at Cedar Beach in Babylon, according to Suffolk County Police. A Long Island man is behind bars after police say he stabbed his wife and daughter to death. The incident happened late Sunday afternoon, July 30 in Brentwood.
