Support Pours In For Nassau County Family As Daughter Battles Rare Disease Friends, family and even strangers have opened their wallets and hearts to help a 7-month-old Long Island girl as she battles a rare genetic disease. Brooke Taylor Graffeo, of Levittown, has been diagnosed with Hypomelanosis of Ito, Polymicrogryia, as well as epilepsy, according to a GoFundMe page set-up to help cover the costs of travel to the hospital and for treatment costs.  The only hospital that can treat Brooke is located in Boston, the page said.
