Twenty-eight-year-old Robert O’Brien of Bellmore entered his plea on Monday, Dec. 11 for the 2021 incident, according to the Nassau County District Attorney. Guilty Plea For Long Beach Man Charged With Fatal Uber Driver Shooting A Long Island Man accused of shooting and killing an Uber driver in March 2022, as well as participating in a serious hit-and-run the year before, has pleaded guilty to both offenses, officials announced. Shaun Teemer, aged 24 of Long Beach, pleaded guilty to multiple charges for two different incidents on Wednesday, June 14, according to the Nassau County District Attorney. Two Nabbed Attempting To Steal Mail In Nassau County, Police Say Two men have been arrested for allegedly stealing mail from a mailbox on Long Beach. The men were caught Wednesday, Jan. 15, trying to remove mail from a box on East Park Avenue and Monroe Boulevard in Long Beach, according to News 12 Long Island. When caught, the men fled in a BMW, crashing into several vehicles, including a police car. Following a crash, the men jumped out of the vehicle and ran down Roosevelt Boulevard before officers were able to capture them. Police said the investigation is continuing.
