A 26,000-square-foot mansion with seven bedrooms and seven full and 10 half bathrooms on Spring Lane in Great Neck has been listed by realtors Daniel Gale. The home sits on three acres of “picturesque waterfront property,” in the village of Kings Point.

If the views of the home look familiar, it is because they were prominently featured in Pacino and Sean Penn’s crime thriller “Carlito’s Way,” which came out in 1993. In the movie, the estate was shot while construction on the mansion was in its infancy. The mansion was completed nearly a decade later in 2002.

The home was reportedly inspired by the Palais de Versailles in France, and was the dream of a couple who wanted to pay tribute to the famed building. Marble was sourced from a French quarry, 400-year-old flooring was shipped in from a French chateau and other items from Europe were used in the final crafting.

Inside the house, amenities include a home theater, gym, wood-paneled library and billiards room. There is an infinity pool overlooking the water and a deepwater dock that can provide space for two yachts.

The estimated taxes are expected to be approximately $8,550 and the estimated payment would be approximately $215,000 monthly.
