A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle, leading to the closure of a Long Island roadway.

The crash took place around 5:50 a.m. Tuesday, March 3, on W. John Street, in Hicksville, in the area of Kuhl Avenue, said the Nassau County Police.

W. John Street is currently closed to traffic to allow for an investigation.
