Brazen Burglars On Loose After Breaking In While Residents Were In Long Island Home, Police Say

Police are investigating a burglary that took place during broad daylight while the residents were in their Long Island home.

The burglary took place around 1:10 p.m., Monday, Feb. 10, at a home on Lockwood Drive, in Shirley, said the Suffolk County Police

Three people were home, but no one was injured.

At least two suspects fled the scene, police said.
