Suspect Nabbed After Teen Shot Outside Long Island Condominium Complex

A suspect has been apprehended after a teenager was shot outside a Long Island condominium complex.

The incident happened on Friday, Oct. 9 at 10:10 p.m. in Coram.

A 19-year-old man was standing in front of 101 Aycock Place when he was shot in his side, Suffolk County Police said.

The man was transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

On Tuesday morning, Oct. 13, police announced that 20-year-old Mark Miller, of Port Jefferson Station, has been charged with first-degree assault.

Miller is due to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Tuesday.
