Missing Freeport Teen Sisters Located

A pair of teenage sisters who when missing just days apart have been located, according to Nassau County Police.

Maya Ferrufino, 13, and her sister Aime Ferrufino, 14, were both reported missing on Monday, May 20, even though at least one had been gone for at least two days.

Police would not release additional details surrounding the circumstances of the sister's disappearance or where they were found. Police announced the girls had been found in the mid-afternoon on Tuesday, May 21.
