A Long Island-based company allegedly illegally imported and sold Chinese-made surveillance and security equipment to the government agencies and private firms.
Employees at Aventura Technologies Inc. in Commack, are expected to be charged in a federal indictment for illegally importing the equipment. Six were expected to make an appearance on Thursday morning in Brooklyn federal court, according to multiple reports.
A news conference has been scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 7, when more details will be released.
