Located at 2187 Jericho Turnpike, the Commack location was officially opened at the end of June. While cheesesteaks are clearly the star of the show, Chiddy’s also offers a wide variety of wraps, salads, fries, hot dogs and even Mexican fare like tacos and empanadas.
Breakfast options like bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches are also available all day long.
Chiddy’s, which opened in 2014, also has locations in Farmingdale and Bay Shore. Interestingly enough, the eatery started as a food truck before expanding to offer an indoor dining experience. Now, Chiddy's has three storefront locations and not one but two food trucks serving some of the most popular menu items on-the-go.
The new Commack store’s interior is sleek and modernized with flat-screen televisions and other welcoming accommodations. In fact, it’s already receiving rave reviews with a 4.5/5-star Yelp rating. Chiddy’s main Facebook page, on the other hand, has garnered a near-perfect 4.8/5-star rating as well. From the food quality to portion size and overall authenticity, guests just can’t seem to get enough.
“As a frequent flyer of Chiddy's Cheesesteaks in Farmingdale, I obviously had to give the Commack location a try - and it did not disappoint…This is the best cheesesteak place on Long Island. So you better check it out!” wrote Jessica M. in an Aug. 11 Yelp review of the new location.
