Located at 1538 Northern Boulevard in Manhasset, the upscale eatery, which opened in 1964, specializes in crafting some of the most savory and traditional appetizers and entrees. Start out with an order of prosciutto, beef carpaccio, grilled portobello mushrooms, little neck clams or any other authentic appetizer.
From there, move on to a soup or salad or dive right into a wide variety of Italian classics. From linguini with clams to broccoli rabe, spaghetti and veal meatballs, roasted chicken and much more, Cafe Continental’s massive variety of offerings is enough for anyone to indulge to their heart’s content.
It’s no surprise that given those offerings, Cafe Continental has earned the establishment an impressive 4.5/5 stars on Yelp, with guests commenting on both the food and service quality, among other elements of their dining experience.
“This is our second visit all I can say is WOW. Great food, large variety of dishes. Check out their specials. The staff is very attentive and friendly they make you feel like family,” writes Joe F. in an April 14 Yelp review.
Cafe Continental is open for dinner seven days a week except for Sundays in July and August. Regular hours are Monday through Thursday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations are recommended.
