Homicide Investigation: Woman Found Dead On Long Beach

The body of a woman was recovered in the water off the coast of Long Island.

The body of a 37-year-old woman was found in the water near the area of Lincoln Beach on Tuesday, Sept. 5, police announced.

On Tuesday, Sept. 5 at approximately 6:24 a.m., Nassau County Police reported to the Lincoln Beach area of Long Beach after a call about a body in the water.

They shortly discovered and recovered the 37-year-old woman’s body.

She was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics.

Her identity and cause of death have not been released.
